AFGC WEBINAR | UPDATE ON EU REGULATION FOR COMPOSITE PRODUCTS
11 August @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
The EU is proposing to implement new legislation regulating composite food products from 21 April 2021. To understand more about this regulation and how it may impact you, join this webinar with Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment (DAWE) experts.
|DATE: Tuesday, 11 August 2020
TIME: 10.00 – 11.00am AEST
THIS IS A FULL MEMBER EVENT ONLY
The Market Access Advice from DAWE contains further information on these regulatory changes. The most significant change for composite products is the prerequisite that all processed products of animal origin (meat, dairy, eggs and fish), regardless of their percentage as an ingredient in the product, are required to be sourced from EU listed establishments to be eligible for import.
During this webinar, DAWE will provide an update on the proposed changes and will be followed by discussions on how this is likely to affect trade and sources of supply for ingredients of animal origin.
SPEAKER | Mark Phythian, DAWE
Participants will be provided Webex meeting details on completion of registration. This webinar is open to AFGC Full Members only.
