FUTURE LEADERS FORUM

29 October 2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Virtual Event

Thursday 29 October, 2020

To ensure we continue to support and develop the future leadership of our industry, particularly
this year during turbulent and uncertain times, the Future Leaders Forum is moving online.

In our ever-changing business, regulatory and social world, your organisation will need people at the helm who can excel in providing purposeful, principle-based leadership as this change accelerates and we continuously brave uncharted waters.

The Future Leaders Forum is the most relevant industry event toward fast-tracking young professionals and emerging leaders who will transform the future of the fast moving consumer goods and supermarket retail industry.

Participation in the Future Leaders Forum provides a motivational reward for great accomplishments, is an investment in your organisation’s future and that of our industry. The Future Leaders Forum provides the extra boost that will inspire and develop leaders of today and tomorrow!

The 2020 Future Leaders Forum program has been designed around three themed sessions:

Session 1: Leading into the future

Drought, bushfires, COVID-19, global economic downturn….what’s next? The volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world first discussed in the 1980’s, is now in full force with our economy, our businesses, our environment and our very lives.

How do we lead through the volatility, unpredictablity and insecurity to build sustainable businesses that fuel a resilient and prosperous economy?

Session 2: Out of adversity rises opportunity

We live in a world that has undergone enourmous change in the last six months, more so perhaps than at any time in the last fifty years!

We have witnessed major impacts to the consumer and their demands, disruptions within the retail landscape, and technology facilitated changes to the FMCG delivery model.

What happens next is likely to define the ways of working for a generation. Trust, technlogy and managing turbulence will define how we connect and communicate.

How do we build connections, maintain them, and recover them when broken? How do we ensure the human experience and the need for connectivity?

Session 3: Adaptive leadership now and for the future

We know great leaders never stop learning. Their development continues throughout their lives and the context in which they lead is always changing. This has never been more true than throughout 2020.

How are the leaders of our industry positioning the sector for the next decade?

The Trading Partner Forum Executive Committee looks forward to welcoming your business and your potential future leaders to this exceptional development and opportunity.
