BACKGROUND:

The Market Access Advice from DAWE contains further information on these regulatory changes. The most significant change for composite products is the prerequisite that all processed products of animal origin (meat, dairy, eggs and fish), regardless of their percentage as an ingredient in the product, are required to be sourced from EU listed establishments to be eligible for import.

During this webinar, DAWE will provide an update on the proposed changes and will be followed by discussions on how this is likely to affect trade and sources of supply for ingredients of animal origin.
