Australian Food & Grocery Council

AFGC Code Review Workshop

Thursday 22 February 2018

9.30am – 12.00noon

The Food and Grocery Code of Conduct (FGCC) will be undergo its first major review in 2018 since its inception three years ago.

The AFGC was instrumental in the design, development and deployment of the FGCC. With our training provider NextGen we have continued to support the industry in the adoption of the FGCC protections.

In 2018 the AFGC will play a pivotal role in the Government led review process. To ensure we represent our members’ views, and in particular SME members, we are keen to hear directly from you on what is and isn’t working effectively.

AFGC  invite you to attend a one off workshop, facilitated by NextGen, to share your thoughts on the current status of the FGCC, existing governance arrangements and the opportunities to strengthen the obligations and controls.

This event is scheduled to take place directly prior to the first SME CEO Forum on Thursday 22 February in Sydney. It is open to AFGC FULL SME CEO Members and is free of charge to attend. Places are strictly limited and registrations are essential.
