SME CEO Forum Sydney

Australian Food and Grocery Council offers CEO’s from our SME member base an opportunity to meet and discuss topical issues within the industry. Our aim is to make a real difference by providing a voice on the key issues that matter to business.
A peer to peer group focused on exploring and discussing emerging issues the forum provides an opportunity to:
- Apprise members on the latest AFGC activities and priorities;
- Hear directly from guest speakers; and
- Opportunity to network with peers.
This Forum is for AFGC members only. There is no cost to attend the Forum but members must register.

|Will Soulsby, Director, Shadow Wolves Insights to Action
Following an early career in research agencies, Will moved to Woolworths where he headed up Customer Insights for the Woolworths Group for over 10 years. Here Will developed an extensive knowledge of the retail industry, the role of consumer research and data and how to embed insights into the business.
Will pioneered many new customer initiatives including the Voice of the Customer program that took the understanding of the customer to a new level. The breadth of Will’s experience is wide ranging across virtually all retail sectors all aspects of the customer journey from sofa to shelf.In 2016 Will launched Shadow Wolves Insight to Action a specialist shopper and retail research agency based in Sydney.
|Paul Harker, Head of Group Replenishment, Head of Buying – Chilled, Frozen, General Merchandise and Woolworths Mobile, Woolworths
Paul has 25 years experience with Woolworths and currently heads up two portfolios within the group. The first is managing the replenishment function for the Woolworths Group (Australian & NZ Supermarkets, Endeavour Drinks and Big W) to establish the strategy for the next 5 years whilst managing a $40m+ replacement of end of life systems and infrastructure. The second portfolio is
Head of Buying, managing a team of buyers responsible for sourcing, buying and merchandising the Chilled, Frozen, General Merchandise, Front of Store and Woolworths Mobile categories for the Australian Food Group.
|Kosta Conomos, Director of Strategy, Export and Insights, Saleslink Group
Kosta has more than 20 years of extensive experience within the Retail Industry. In this time he has performed multiple roles, ranging from Store Operations to Merchandising, Marketing, Category Management and Retail research for both local and international retailers.
In 2001 Kosta joined the Global Insights company Nielsen, and lead their Retail division in over 15 markets across North and South-East Asia. In 2009 Kosta returned home to head Nielsen’s Retail Industry Group in Australia where he worked at a strategic level with Australia’s leading Manufacturers and Retailers.
In 2017 Kosta joined Saleslink Group. Here he leads up their new Export to Asia division in addition to Business Intelligence and Strategy with a key focus on taking Australian brands into the fast growing China market.
