We are a membership-based organisation totally funded by industry to work on behalf of industry. We work in the following areas:

We analyse and influence federal and state policies to ensure our members’ views are represented at the highest level.

MEMBER SERVICES
We offer a wide range of professional services specifically tailored to meet our members’ needs.

PROGRAMS
We provide targeted programs to deliver solutions for members and stakeholders.

REPRESENTATION AND ADVOCACY
We present a united voice and advocate on behalf of the food and grocery manufacturing industry.

COMMUNICATION
We keep our members up to date and promote the industry.

2010 Priorities

Our current priorities are:

  • Promote profile of the industry leading to a government supported national Food and Grocery Agenda.
  • Industry as an influential player in preventative health and other government initiatives.
  • Guidelines for sustainable practices set across industry for carbon, water and waste streams.
  • Voluntary codes are widely accepted and implemented as alternatives to regulation.
  • Promote supply chain efficiencies and foster productive retailer relationships.
  • Revamp member services for better value proposition and expanded membership.
