2010 Australian Packaging Awards
The Australian Packaging Awards - organised by the Packaging Council of Australia (PCA) - is a national competition which recognises and rewards packaging design excellence. The Awards are open to members and non members of the PCA, retailers, brand owners, suppliers, or any Australian company which is involved in the design and/ or manufacture of the packaging or one of its components.
These Awards present an opportunity to promote your brand, products and people and be recognised.
To be eligibe, the package submitted must have a significant Australian contribution in design and/or manufacturing and/or intellectual property. It must be either in commercial production or committed to distribution prior to 16 July 2010 and must be available in the Australian market.
The closing date for early bird registraion is Friday 21 May and the final date for registration is Friday 18 June.
The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) will host the “Neutrons and Food Workshop”, which is being held in Sydney from Sunday 31 October to Wednesday 3 November 2010. The workshop will focus on the application of neutron scattering to food-based systems and seek to identify the future scientific needs in the application of neutron scattering to food science.
