Our organisational structure enables member companies to contribute to overall industry policy and strategy, influence sector-specific issues and access services.
The AFGC Full Council, comprising the CEOs of all full members, is the supreme governing body and is responsible for overall policy, strategic direction and resourcing.
AFGC’s Board of Directors determine policy, establish priorities, formulate strategy and allocate resources on behalf of the Full Council.
There are four Standing Committees – Health, Nutrition and Scientific Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Supply Chain and Sustainable Practices – which undertake detailed policy and strategy development for the consideration of the Board of Directors and the Full Council
Sub-committees and working groups are formed to address issues as needed.
The AFGC Secretariat is structured to reflect the operation of the council and its committees.
