The Australian Food and Grocery Council (AFGC) offers Sales Practitioners – particularly National Account Managers – from our Full Member companies an opportunity to meet and hear about issues pertinent to developing your careers in the sales function within fast moving consumer goods (FMCG)

Our aim is to support members through provision of personal performance and career development content, as well as useful insight from AFGC on current key issues at play within the industry.

The first briefings for 2017 will focus on building wellbeing and resilience. Critical attributes for any customer facing FMCG personnel.

amanda-purcell Amanda Purnell from The Resilience Institute will offer attendees a unique opportunity
to consider personal resilience for the key roles such as National Account Management and Category Management require courage, creativity and connection.
Paul Bull  is the Managing Director for Real World Marketing,  a market leading
consultancy that works in partnership with suppliers and manufacturers to help them
develop compelling category, business and customer strategies to improve sales and
profits. Paul will be announcing an exciting NEW industry opportunity launching in 2017
– the PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. The need to work with
Australian supermarket retailers to achieve growth and profitability in a highly competitive
fast paced and challenging environment requires advanced skills and capabilities. The
program, targeted at high potential Sales and Commercial executives, delivers the tools and capabilities required to fully equip the next generation of sales leadership, supporting commercial success for their businesses.
